A Truly Royal Experience in the Heart of the Capital
By Tom Wilkinson
If you are in London and looking for luxury hotel accommodation near Buckingham Palace, or perhaps somewhere to stay while seeing the Broadway smash hit, Hamilton, Luxury.TV and LuxuryLondon.com recommend The Rubens at the Palace.
This historic building was initially constructed as housing for Buckingham Palace staff in the 1700s. By 1912, however, several adjacent properties were purchased and turned into The Hotel Rubens. The close proximity to both Victoria Station and the Palace made it a luxury destination for visitors to the Palace and central London.
Elegance Redefined at The Rubens at the Palace
Following a major renovation project by Red Carnation Hotels, The Rubens is yet again restored to its former glory with unique and modern interiors inside the beautiful frame of elegant architecture.
With two restaurants and two bars The Rubens at the Palace will delight throughout your stay. The newly opened English Grill offers royal dining at a competitive price, while The Curry Room offers authentic Indian cuisine. After dinner or prior to the theatre you can relax in The Leopard Bar for an extensive champagne and whisky selection, or retire to The New York Bar to try their signature royal cocktails. Both bars also offer live musical entertainment from 7pm.
